It is with great pride and purpose that I extend my warm greetings to all members, stakeholders, and visitors of the Sri Lanka Chamber of Garment Exporters (SLCGE).
Since our establishment in 1992, the Chamber has played a vital role in supporting and representing the small and medium-scale apparel manufacturers who form the backbone of Sri Lanka’s garment export industry. Our journey has been one of resilience, collaboration, and continuous progress—and today, we stand stronger than ever in our mission to serve the needs of our members.
As President, I am deeply committed to advancing the Chamber’s objectives through transparent leadership, strategic partnerships, and meaningful advocacy. Our members deserve not only a voice at the table but the tools and opportunities to grow, innovate, and compete in a rapidly evolving global market.
Through continued engagement with government bodies, industry forums such as the Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF), and international stakeholders, we strive to ensure that the perspectives of small and medium enterprises are recognized and respected in all matters of policy and practice.
I invite all eligible manufacturers to join hands with us—because together, we are stronger. Together, we can build a more inclusive, competitive, and sustainable future for Sri Lanka’s apparel industry.
